Youth Activation Coach

$65,000 - $75,000 per annum

Do you have a passion for working with rangitahi? We are looking for an energetic and highly competent Youth Activation Coach to work alongside our two dedicated Youth Online Counsellors, 

Our Youth team works collaboratively with primary care practices, schools, Te Whatu Ora and other community groups, to provide assessment and intervention counselling for people from 12 years of age who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. We want to expand our current team to find someone who can walk alongside rangitahi to activate the wellbeing plans they have made with our Youth Online Counsellors. You will have the opportunity to learn from our two experienced Youth Counsellors and also our wider Mental Health team of 10 people. 

Our service is provided the length of the Coast so you will need to be comfortable driving our roads. 

Success criteria for the role:

  • A recognised qualification in youth work, social work, mental health or other relevant area (minimum level 4 qualification).
  • Experience working clinically with youth (from 12 years),
  • The ability to work successfully within a multi-disciplinary team.
