Based in Hokitika, and servicing the ruggedly beautiful South Island West Coast, her calling to this role is deeply personal and very much grounded in the belief to guide, support and walk beside people with their terminal diagnosis journey.

My work involves,
- Advance Care Plans
- Preparation for End of Life, e.g. working with Whānua bringing people together, helping with making sure everyone's roles are clear and needs meet for everybody.
- Liaise with medical teams to ensure communication and understanding is clear.
- Answering and asking the tricky questions.
- Finding resources.
- Discussing stages of death, fears/worries, teaching calming techniques.
- Being a solid reliable person supporting all the way through to the end.
