Smoke-free Services Liaison

• Part time, 32 hours per week
• Fixed-term contract (12-Months)
• $72,000 for 0.8 FTE

We are seeking an outgoing, innovative, professional, Smoke-free Services Liaison who thrives in a changing environment, to join our friendly team based in Greymouth. 

This is a dynamic and diverse role that reports to the Healthy Lifestyles Programme Manager and is responsible for leading and supporting smoking cessation services in a range of settings (primary care, hospital services, community etc.), preventing smoking initiation and promoting smoke-free environments. To ensure your success you will be highly collaborative, with a proactive approach and ability to identify needs before they arise. 

The position would suit someone who:

• Holds a level 4 qualification in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent
• Has the ability to work collaboratively, and build strong networking relationship
• Strategic thinker who can see the big picture and turn ideas into practical, actionable solutions
• Has a knowledge of Primary and Secondary Health care
• Applies the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to mahi
• Has a high level of influencing, with the ability to work collaboratively, and build strong networking relationships.
• The ability to work autonomously
• Has a current drivers license
